Sound absorption, is the ability of a material to dissipate the sound energy by converting it to heat.
The resonance structures are constituted by panels of non-porous material on which are drilled holes of appropriate size and are mounted at a certain distance from the surface to be treated. Such a system produces an effect of sound absorption based on the principle of Helmholtz.
The mass of air contained in the holes of the panel constitutes, with the air volume of the interspace behind, a mechanical system of the type “mass-spring”, therefore fitted with its own resonance frequency, at which the system is able to absorb a considerable part of energy.

An innovative system based on sound deadening slats that we use for the creation of partition walls, panels and false ceilings; it’s a material that ensures high sound absorption performances.
Performance is enhanced by suitable insulating polyester fiber on the back of the coating; it’s a product which in its own entirety is able to have high coefficients of sound absorption in respect of the most common sound frequencies.

ASSORBIMENTO ACUSTICO

Le strutture di risonanza sono costituite da pannelli di materiale non poroso sui quali vengono praticati dei fori di opportune dimensioni e vengono montati ad una certa distanza dalla superficie da trattare. Un siffatto sistema produce un effetto di fonoassorbimento fondato sul principio di Helmholtz.
La massa d’aria contenuta nei fori del pannello costituisce, con il volume d’aria dell’intercapedine retrostante, un sistema meccanico del tipo “massa-molla”, dotato quindi di una propria frequenza di risonanza, in corrispondenza della quale il sistema è in grado di assorbire una considerevole parte di energia.
